Can you relate?
Feeling like you have to wear a “mask” just to get ahead at work or school?
The pressure of knowing that a single slip could put your position at risk?
Carrying the burden of representing yourself well when you’re the only one “like you” in the room?
Feeling like you have to constantly battle not being “too much,” yet also not “too soft,” just to avoid being taken advantage of?
Feeling like you have to look over your shoulder, as if all eyes are on you?
And if you’re the first in your family to make it “far,” do you feel the weight of having to succeed—for everyone who came before you?
Pérola Psychiatry Can help
Pérola Psychiatry is a privately owned telemedicine mental health practice dedicated to compassionate, personalized mental health care for ages 12–65 across the state of California, with a focus on supporting BIPOC transitional‑age youth ages 18–26 with anxiety, ADHD and stress as they navigate life’s most pivotal years. All genders, races, sexual orientations and gender identities are welcomed.
While we offer medication management, not all of our patients choose to take medication. At Pérola, we also use supplements and lifestyle recommendations to support clients in their mental health. So if medication isn’t your preference, we can explore other ways to help you.
Pérola psychiatry is dedicated to creating the care that works for you.
